How are animals viewed in Feng Shui?
This “mysterious knowledge” is about things that cannot be seen, but can be felt and experienced.
The position of the furniture, the arrangement of certain objects or the use of certain colors can have different influences on wellbeing. Animals are also very important in Feng Shui , especially those considered to be the “protectors” of the house:
1. Black turtle
They are connected to the water and the north. It stands for stability, protection and durability. The black turtle (cover photo) fends off all dangers and mishaps with its strong shell.
In addition, with its slow and leisurely walk, this reptile reduces stress and problems in the family. It is said that it protects against the storms, the flood of water and various forms of aggression.
The best place to put a turtle figurine is with your back to the door, window, or hallway.
2. Yellow snake
It is connected to the center and the earth, so that it has a special place among the animals in Feng Shui.
The snake is a very receptive and sensitive reptile that pays attention to everything that surrounds it. Her job is to analyze the situation, take care of the house and avoid complications.
3. White tiger
It is assigned to the element metal and to the west. It represents strength, courage and physical energy. It is usually placed to the right of the yellow snake, either on a cupboard, on a building, or on a mound in the garden.

4. Red Phoenix

5. Green dragon
This animal originated in myths (nowadays it is compared to the iguana) and is associated with wood and the east. It is one of the most famous symbols of Chinese art and culture that is very popular in celebrations.
As a protective animal, it can be on the mountain as well as in the water. It should be placed to the left of the yellow snake and to the right of the white tiger: in a closet, in the doorway or on a table. It serves to stimulate intuition and our irrational side.
